Dear Bounty Bay Online community,

A short while ago we received many enquiries related to the improvement to account security. So we took it upon ourselves to collect all your feedback and have been working hard ever since on making improvements and we can now present you the first few of these improvements.

We had already taken the first steps to introducing SSL encryption to the Bounty Bay Online forums but our hard-working programmers have also been working continuously on realizing further improvements.

Starting today you will have a wide range of options to improve the security of your accounts. You're most welcome to read the full details on our Forum.

We also reveal some great news about the Battle against Goldsellers.

We are happy to announce the launch of the biggest expansion to date for Bounty Bay Online. All servers are now back online. The final patch will be made available via autopatcher at a later time, but you can already get the patch with manual download right here:

You can now set the sails to discover a great new world, encounter dangerous and new creatures, instances and much more with the new expasion. Five new characters classes are now available for everyone, with these you'll get an even deeper experience. We also added a new Merchant Alliance system, a tournament system, an extended pet system, as well as new weapons, items and a whole new starter experience.

Special Points Promotion for the Release

For the release of Beyond the Horizon we started a special promotion, allowing you to make some really big savings. Up until 17:00 CET on 30.11.2009. You will get double the content of all of the points packages for the usual price!

Only two days are left, before we launch the biggest expansion to date, for Bounty Bay Online. So now we would like to inform you about the first details and the start of the server downtime on Wednesday, 25th of November 2009.

All servers will be shut down starting at 07:30h CET, at this point we’ll start to prepare everything for the release of Beyond the Horizon. We currently can’t provide you with an ETA for the time when the work will be finished, but we’ll keep you updated on Wednesday.

You can use this extra time to prepare your client for the expansion and get all the details right here, from our dedicated Beyond the Horizon website.

We’ll inform you as soon as we can share with you the link for the new client and patch download for Beyond the Horizon.

With sails billowing full from a following wind, Bounty Bay Online is steering dead ahead for the coming add-on.

The add-on Beyond the Horizon will be published in German, English and French versions on 25th November 2009.

Beyond the Horizon is the third and up to now most comprehensive add-on to Bounty Bay Online and offers new features.
